How to run LinkedIn outreach in 2026 without getting banned

The unwritten rate limits, the account-warmup routine, and the behavior signals LinkedIn actually watches for.

LinkedIn has never published its automation limits, but it enforces them ruthlessly. Every week we see founders lose a 5-year-old account because they treated a fresh Sales Navigator seat like a scraping API.

The pattern that survives is boring: 20-25 connection requests a day from a warmed account, 40-60 profile views, and messages sent from a real-looking browser fingerprint — not a cloud IP in Virginia. If your account was created last month, cut those numbers in half for the first three weeks.

The single behavior LinkedIn appears to weight most heavily is speed. A human doesn't click 'Connect' 40 times in 40 seconds. Add jitter — 90 to 240 seconds between actions — and your account will outlive most of your campaigns.

OpenOutreach handles the pacing, the fingerprinting, and the daily caps for you. But even if you build this yourself, the rule is the same: LinkedIn tolerates automation that looks like a slow, distracted human. It bans automation that looks like a script.
